This Privacy Policy explains how Aklame Digital ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") accesses, collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you use the AFFG mobile application ("App").

This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with the Google Play User Data policy and, where applicable, the Google Play Health Apps requirements. It specifically describes the categories of data that the App may access or collect, including health and fitness-related data, how that data is used, whether it is shared, how long it is retained, and how users can request deletion.

2. What data we access or collect

Depending on the features you use, AFFG may access or collect the following categories of data:

• Account and profile data: username, password, federation licence number, and club or federation-related identifiers.
• Device and technical data: device model, operating system, app version, language, IP address, and diagnostic information.
• Location data: approximate location, used solely to help you find nearby golf courses. Location is accessed only when you use the course search feature and is not stored on our servers.
• Usage data: screens viewed, actions taken in the app, session timestamps, and feature interaction data.
• Advertising identifier: on iOS, we may request access to the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) through the App Tracking Transparency framework, solely for the purpose of serving personalized ads. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time.
• Health and fitness-related data: the App collects sports performance data related to footgolf, including tournament scores (strokes per hole), round results, player rankings, handicap information, league standings, and match play results. This data is entered manually by the user or by tournament officials and is used exclusively to provide the competitive and statistical features of the App.
• Digital signatures: when submitting a scorecard, the App captures your handwritten digital signature to authenticate and validate your round results.
• Push notification tokens: we use OneSignal to deliver push notifications about tournaments, news, and app updates. Your device token is shared with OneSignal solely for this purpose.

Health and fitness data disclosure

AFFG is a sports competition management app for the Association Française de FootGolf (AFFG). In the context of Google Play policies, certain sports performance data may be classified as health and fitness-related data.

The specific health and fitness-related data types collected by the App are:

• Tournament scores: number of strokes per hole in footgolf rounds.
• Round results: total scores, position in flight, and round completion status.
• Player rankings: classification within leagues and tournaments.
• Handicap data: player handicap values used for competitive classification.
• Match play results: head-to-head match outcomes and draw brackets.

We use this data for the following purposes:

• to provide the main functionality of the App, including live scoring, tournament management, and results display;
• to display rankings, statistics, league standings, and historical results to the user;
• to allow tournament officials to manage competitions and validate scorecards;
• to provide support, troubleshooting, and security where necessary.

We do not use health and fitness-related data for advertising, data brokerage, or any purpose prohibited by Google Play policies. This data is not shared with advertisers or ad networks.

The App does not access, import, or connect to any health platform such as Google Fit, Apple HealthKit, or any wearable device. It does not collect biometric data, heart rate, physical activity tracking, body measurements, or medical information of any kind.

3. How we collect data

We collect data in the following ways:

• Directly from you, when you log in with your federation credentials, submit scorecards, or use app features.
• From tournament officials, who may enter or validate scores and results on your behalf during competitions.
• Automatically, through normal app operation and server logs.
• From device permissions, only when you grant access (e.g., location for course search, notification permissions).

4. Why we use your data

We use personal data and, where applicable, health and fitness-related data to:

• authenticate your identity and manage your session;
• deliver the App's features and services, including live scoring, rankings, and tournament management;
• store and synchronize your scores, results, and competition history;
• provide rankings, league standings, statistics, and personalized in-app views;
• send push notifications about tournaments, news, and updates;
• serve advertisements (using your advertising identifier only, never health or fitness data);
• maintain security, prevent fraud, and detect misuse;
• debug errors, monitor performance, and improve the App;
• comply with legal obligations.

5. Legal basis for processing

Where required by applicable law, we process your data on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent, the performance of a contract (your use of the App and federation services), compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the App.

6. Data sharing

We may share limited data only in the following situations:

• Federation and tournament organizers: scores, rankings, and competition results may be visible to other players and tournament officials as part of the normal operation of the App.
• Service providers: hosting providers (server infrastructure), OneSignal (push notifications), and authentication services that process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
• Advertising partners: we may share your advertising identifier (IDFA) with ad networks to serve ads. We do not share health and fitness-related data, scores, rankings, or any personal performance data with advertisers.
• Legal compliance: when required by law, regulation, court order, or valid government request.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, if legally permitted.

We do not sell personal data or health and fitness-related data to third parties.

7. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain security.

Health and fitness-related data (tournament scores, rankings, and competition results) is retained for as long as your user account remains active, unless earlier deletion is requested. Historical tournament results may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for statistical purposes even after account deletion.

8. Data deletion and user rights

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data and health and fitness-related data by contacting us at info@aklame.com.

If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, unless we must retain certain information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data and health and fitness-related data, including secure transmission (HTTPS), access controls, authentication measures (JWT tokens), and infrastructure safeguards designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

AFFG is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at info@aklame.com so that we can take the necessary actions.

11. International transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence (including servers in the European Union and other jurisdictions). We will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be communicated within the App or by other appropriate means.
